Three People Left Injured After A Car Drove Down An Anaheim Sidewalk

Yesterday, July 9, 2008, the Orange County Register reported an auto-pedestrian accident that occurred in Anaheim. An 80-year-old woman lost control of her car, causing her to drive down a State College Boulevard sidewalk near Placentia. Three pedestrians were injured after the driver ran them down. A 16-year-old girl was critically injured and taken to Western Medical Center-Santa Ana and her 8-year-old brother was seriously injured and taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange. The third victim was an ice cream vendor sustained minor injuries. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
